Four weeks on from Greenscapes + Green Expo 2026, the numbers are in – and they confirm a hugely successful event for Queensland’s greenlife and landscaping industries.
Held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on 5–6 August, the event brought together growers, suppliers, contractors, retailers, designers and decision-makers from across Australia for two days of business, education, innovation and industry connection.
As Queensland’s first dedicated landscape and greenlife trade event, Greenscapes + Green Expo united leading industry associations and two complementary exhibitions under one roof, creating new opportunities for collaboration across the broader sector.
The scale of this year’s event demonstrated strong demand for a dedicated trade platform connecting the greenlife and landscape industries.
More than 2,000 people registered for the event, with visitors representing horticulture, landscaping, garden retail, arboriculture, local government, construction, property development and other related sectors.
Across the two days, Green Expo delivered:
The education program combined expert presentations, workshops, keynotes and exhibitor-led sessions, while the Live Demo Arena gave visitors the opportunity to see the latest products, equipment, techniques and innovations in action.
Importantly, the post-event results show Green Expo delivered more than strong attendance.
80% of surveyed attendees were involved in purchasing or buying decisions, while 94% rated the quality of exhibitors as good or excellent.
Visitors also reported strong intent to turn their Green Expo experience into action:
The response from exhibitors was equally positive, with 92% satisfied or very satisfied with their exhibiting experience, while 83% said they were likely or extremely likely to exhibit again.
From a buzzing exhibition floor and packed education sessions to live demonstrations and conversations happening throughout the venue, Green Expo showcased the depth, innovation and opportunity across our industries.

Following the first day of the exhibition, the 2026 Green Expo Dinner brought together growers, retailers, suppliers, industry leaders, GIQ Life Members, Board members and friends from across the country for an evening celebrating Queensland’s greenlife industry.
GIQ President Christina Gnezdiloff was joined by special guests including Stephen Bennett MP, Bruce Waltisbuhl and Jason Durham, while keynote speaker and comedian Claire Hooper brought plenty of warmth and humour to the evening.
The dinner also marked an important milestone for GIQ’s Good Grower Program, with the first certified Good Growers recognised: Jennifer Ison of Red Fox Orchids, Kris Grundy of Townsville Plant Wholesalers and Wendy Lund of C.R. Mines Propagation, alongside program facilitator Tamara Simon, The Small Business Fixer.
